Sabbath School Classes
October 24, 2020 9:45 am - 10:45 am
We have three children classes and two adult classes. These classes are aimed at preparing those who attend to grow in the Abundant Life that Jesus gives to His followers. But each class does this in their own unique way.
Our two adult classes are separated by focus. The focus of the class that meets in the Fellowship Hall is on study of Scripture and Theology. We often have a predominant of amount of the time used for lecture and then discussion afterwards. On the other hand, the class that meets in the Library is focused on forming genuine relationship with one another by discussing Scripture and theological material. This class emphasizes discussion first.
Our three youth classes are all age specific with the level of material matching the development needs at that time. We determine our classes by having one class for Toddlers/Preschool, one for Kindergarten--2nd grade, and the last class is 3rd--6th grade.

Our worship services are aimed directly at drawing the disconnected together into genuine relationship with Christ and each other. When we sing, we sing to unite in the worship of our one God through Jesus Christ. We listen to His word and respond to it together. We have a time of prayer where our family prays on one another's behalf. And all of this is followed by a time of connection with guests and members alike where some light refreshments are available to give us an excuse to spend quality time together.

Everyone is welcome to attend our potluck lunch. If you want to bring food to share, we welcome you to do so. Punch, water, and coffee are always provided. And it is expected that we leave more connected with one another at the end of this time than before. The point is not to eat, but to eat together. We rarely spend enough un-distracted quality time with one another. But Potluck Lunch is one small way that we want to work towards genuine relationship with our Church family.
